This is the first game in the timeline of the Yoko Taro games, in which we play as Zero, the main protagonist, who wants to kill her five sisters. The song takes place in between missions, where all the characters rest next to a campfire, discussing events prior and what they will do next.

This is Islander’s first arrangement for The Collab Playground, and the first appearance for both Islander and Yaya Piano on the channel.

The Dark World Theme from A Link to the Past is one of the more iconic themes from the Zelda franchise. After Agahnim sends Link to the Dark World, he must save the descendants of the 7 sages and defeat Ganon in order to restore the Dark World back to the Sacred Realm.

We had fun putting this together. After getting the initial arrangement laid out, we decided to add a bit of flair with some additional whistle harmonies and guitar parts. It wasn’t intentional, but the final mix felt like it had the mood of an old western. For some reason we can imagine cowboys on horseback riding through the Dark World.

This is our cover of the Kaepora Gaebora theme found throughout a number of Zelda Games; the owl, Kaepora Gaebora is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series. He is the reincarnation of the ancient Sage Rauru. His name is also very similar to the Skyward Sword character, Gaepora. Kaepora Gaebora usually gives advice to Link throughout the games that he is in and typically talks a lot and tricks us into repeating himself, much to the frustration of many! 🦉

This is an extra release featuring the standalone version of “Zelda’s Lullaby” featured in the trailer. “Zelda’s Lullaby” is taught by Impa after initially meeting Princess Zelda at her courtyard. It is a sacred song with mysterious powers passed down by the Royal Family for generations, and it also served as a lullaby for the young Princess Zelda.
