The Dark World Theme from A Link to the Past is one of the more iconic themes from the Zelda franchise. After Agahnim sends Link to the Dark World, he must save the descendants of the 7 sages and defeat Ganon in order to restore the Dark World back to the Sacred Realm.
We had fun putting this together. After getting the initial arrangement laid out, we decided to add a bit of flair with some additional whistle harmonies and guitar parts. It wasn’t intentional, but the final mix felt like it had the mood of an old western. For some reason we can imagine cowboys on horseback riding through the Dark World.
