The Phantom Forest is a mysterious location that is home to the Phantom Train, which is used to ferry the spirits of those killed at Doma Castle to the “other side.” Our heroes flee through the forest after escaping from the imperial camp. This song is used for various areas throughout Final Fantasy VI, but is primarily associated with the Phantom Forest location.
To create the background of this video, Truman pulled layers from each area and stitched them together to create one continuous scrolling background. In one area, a large tree had to be mirrored in order to allow the areas to be connected.
